Thank you for your interest in Liversedge Cricket Club. We have been playing cricket at Liversedge since 1896 and we are very proud of our club and all its achievements over the years.
We are not just a club that plays cricket but a family orientated club that forms an integral part of our local community. We offer a wide variety of entertainments during the year and play host to community wide events each year such as the village fireworks display and the local playgroups gala day. The club is also used as a meeting place for several diverse community groups as well as a friendly and welcoming place to spend time together.
In addition to our 2 senior cricket sides that play on Saturdays, we have a very active junior section with teams playing competitive matches at U9, U11, U13 and U15 (x2) age groups. Our junior teams play during the week in the Heavy Woollen District Junior Cricket League and the Bradford Junior Cricket League. Our current U15 side has been particularly successful of late with several players being selected to represent Yorkshire. This all bodes well for the senior sides in the years to come.
Our ground is one of the best in the area, benefitting from a good wicket, wonderful panoramic views over the Spen Valley and first class clubhouse facilities. It is regularly selected to host the leagues prestigious cup finals and in previous years played host to the Yorkshire Council final. The final of the countries oldest cup competition, the Heavy Woollen Cup, was held at Liversedge in 2017.
The club is fully licensed and open 7 days a week from 7pm on weekdays and from 12 noon on weekends. We currently have around 400 members (approx 250 adults & 150 juniors).
The club enjoys good press coverage during the cricket season with regular reports in the local Reporter group of newspapers and is currently in the process of developing this new website. The club is also developing a successful outreach on social media platforms, with over 1400 people currently following the club on twitter @LiversedgeCC. We have also recently launched the Liversedge Cricket Club Facebook page.
The website also attracts many visits per month during the cricket season and during the close season.

Companies are becoming increasingly aware of the need to be seen as being socially responsible and the benefits that this brings. Sponsoring Senior and Junior cricket at Liversedge is an excellent way to advertise your company to the local and wider area and to demonstrate your company’s commitment to putting something back into the local community.
Despite being run by volunteers, it is a fact that providing and maintaining good quality facilities for the local community to learn, practice and play cricket on is expensive, and cannot be done without some degree of commercial sponsorship.
We have broken our sponsorship opportunities down into 7 standard packages. Each package has been designed to give both businesses and individuals, with a range of budgets, the opportunity to get involved with Liversedge Cricket Club.
Our sponsorship packages are detailed below and include details of their cost together with the benefits that can be expected. Although these represent our standard sponsorship packages, should you have any bespoke requests, these can be discussed and a specially tailored package designed.
The club shirt sponsor is the primary sponsor of the club. Being the primary sponsor of our cricket club can bring a whole host of benefits and can be an excellent way to gain company exposure with members of the club and the local area at a fraction of the price of other advertising methods.
Liversedge Cricket Club has a vibrant and successful junior section with players as young as 8 and is seen as the future of cricket at Liversedge Cricket Club. Half of the current 1st XI team have graduated from the clubs junior section and the clubs 2nd XI team is viewed as an important vehicle for giving talented club juniors exposure to 50 over cricket. Throughout the cricket season the clubs junior cricketers enjoy weekly training sessions where they are coached by senior cricketers and qualified coaches.
The scorebox represents the main focal point during every match of cricket and as such represents an opportunity to gain maximum exposure for your company.
Sponsoring the clubs 1st XI training kit represents an excellent opportunity to advertise your company at every 1st XI cricket match during the season and is aimed at those companies with a more modest budget. The training kit comprises a “hoody” or tracksuit top and will display your company name across the back and the company logo on the front.
Sponsorship around our picturesque ground is a high profile way of advertising throughout the year at Liversedge Cricket Club. Advertisement banners are 8ft x 2ft and are placed in prominent areas around the ground and are visible to players, spectators, club members and visitors to the ground all year round.
Become a Liversedge VIP for the day! As a Match Day sponsor you will be sponsoring one of Liversedge Cricket Clubs senior teams home games during the season. Match days are popular at the cricket club with spectators, friends and family attending games on a regular basis.
