Everyone in Roberttown has been touched by the story of Beau and at Liversedge Cricket Club we’re hosting several events to raise money for her cancer treatment.
At the age of four in December 2020, Beau was diagnosed with Stage 4 high-risk neuroblastoma, a rare and aggressive childhood cancer that at the point of diagnosis has only a 50% chance of long-term survivorship.
Beau’s family are fundraising so that she can access the Bivalent Vaccine trial in New York at the Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center once frontline treatment is completed that aims to keep the cancer from returning.
More about her story can be found here: https://www.solvingkidscancer.org.uk/appeal/beau
